A photo book featuring Myaku-Myaku, the official mascot of last year’s Osaka-Kansai Expo, will be published on April 13, the first anniversary of the start of the Expo.
The announcement for the book was made on Monday by Expo2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Master Licensing Office, which manages the intellectual property of the Expo.
Myaku-Myaku, whose popularity does not seem to have waned even after the closure of the Expo, traveled to Okinawa Prefecture for the photos, striking cute poses like a pop idol.
The 224-page photo book, titled “I myaku you.,” will be published by Felissimo Corp. Myaku-Myaku strikes various poses, such as lying on the beach and relaxing on a hammock. The photo book, priced at ¥3,960, will be available on the Expo’s official online store and elsewhere.
