Japan took down the Russian Olympic Committee 10-5 in round robin play in women’s curling on Saturday night at the Beijing Games.

Japan, nicknamed Loco Solare, improved to 3-1 in pool play. The ROC took control early on, but surrendered three big points in the seventh end that helped Japan even the score.

Japan also added back-to-back steels and eventually built a lead up to five for a come-from-behind victory.

It was the third consecutive win for Japan, while the ROC fell to 0-4.

Loco Solare takes on host China after a day off on Sunday.
