Jurickson Profar drilled a three-run double in the seventh inning Sunday and the visiting San Diego Padres beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-3 to win two of three in their weekend series.

The score was tied at 3 when Xander Bogaerts walked, Fernando Tatis Jr. singled and Jake Cronenworth walked to load the bases with no outs. After Manny Machado popped out, Profar ripped a high fastball from J.P. Feyereisen (0-1) off the top of the center-field wall to clear the bases.

Yuki Matsui (2-0) retired all four hitters he faced to pick up the win for San Diego, and Robert Suarez pitched the ninth to garner his fifth save in as many chances. Machado homered and finished with two hits and two runs.

Neither starter was around for the decision. Padres right-hander Yu Darvish worked five innings, allowing four hits and three runs with two walks and two strikeouts. Los Angeles left-hander James Paxton pitched five-plus innings, permitting three hits and three runs with eight walks and a strikeout.

Five Dodger pitchers combined to issue 14 walks, the fourth-most Los Angeles has given up in franchise history.

The Padres took the early lead in the top of the fourth when Machado hit his fourth homer of the year, a 418-foot blast to left-center field.

But Los Angeles responded quickly, scoring three runs in its half of the inning. Freddie Freeman doubled, Will Smith drove him in with a single and Max Muncy belted a two-run homer to right, his fourth of the year.

San Diego tied the score in the sixth as it finally took advantage of wild Dodger pitching. Machado, Profar and Ha-Seong Kim drew walks to load the bases with no outs. After Luis Campusano grounded into a double play that scored Machado, Jackson Merrill legged out an infield single up the middle that plated Profar.
