Japan’s former princess’ husband Komuro not on N.Y. bar exam pass list

NEW YORK — Kei Komuro, the husband of Mako, the eldest daughter of Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko, did not appear on a list of those who passed the New York State bar exam. The names of those who passed were posted on the website of the New York State Board of Law Examiners on Thursday. According to the board, 1,378 of 3,068 passed the exam — a success rate of 45%. The success rate for those retaking the exam was 30%. Komuro, who took the bar exam in February, lives in New York with Mako.
