Prince Hisahito, the son of Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko, attended the entrance ceremony for the University of Tsukuba’s high school in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo, on Saturday.
The 15-year-old prince, wearing a white mask and a dark blue suit, arrived at the school shortly before 8:30 a.m.
“I want to further deepen my interests while working hard on my schoolwork,” he said when asked by the press about his ambitions in high school.
After graduating from Ochanomizu University Junior High School, also in the ward, the prince prepared for his new school life at his residence.
