Man in His 50s Attacked by Bear in Fukushima City While Gathering Wild Vegetables

A man in his 50s was injured when both of his legs were bitten in a bear attack on Sunday, police said.

According to the Fukushima Police Station, the man and his wife were gathering wild vegetables in a forest in Fukushima when he was attacked by a bear about one meter in length at around 9:25 a.m.

The man’s life is not in danger.
