Visitors enjoy viewing cherry blossoms and canola flowers together along the Omoi River in Oyama, Tochigi Prefecture on Monday.

A tunnel of cherry blossoms is seen at the blossom’s peak bloom in Nasushiobara, Tochigi Prefecture on Wednesday.

Cherry blossoms and canola flowers are currently in full bloom across various places in Tochigi Prefecture.

Around bridges near the Watarase flood control reservoir in Oyama, Tochigi Prefecture, a yellow carpet of canola flowers covers the slopes of the Omoi River embankment. This creates a striking contrast with the pale pink cherry blossoms that line the walking path along the river.

At a so-called cherry blossom tunnel Nasushiobara, Tochigi Prefecture, a row of 80, primarily Someiyoshino, cherry trees reached their peak bloom at Nasu Senbonmatsu Farm around Monday.

The peak viewing period is expected to last until around Sunday.
