Ground Self-Defense Force Chief of Staff Yoshihide Yoshida has tested positive for novel coronavirus, the Defense Ministry said Thursday.
Yoshida has been in Europe since July 3 for meetings with Britain’s chief of general staff and the head of the German army.
He has no fever or other symptoms, according to the ministry.
