Fire ants found at the Aomi wharf in Tokyo Port

The Environment Ministry announced Monday that approximately 500 fire ants, a highly poisonous invasive species, were found in a container yard at the Aomi wharf in Tokyo Port. This is the first discovery of fire ants in Japan this year, since they were found in Utsunomiya last October.
