Actor Shingo Katori, a former member of the now-disbanded pop group SMAP, has gotten married, his management company said Tuesday.
“I will continue to work diligently and sincerely,” Katori, 44, said in a statement.
This is the second year-end surprise in a row from SMAP — former member Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, 47, announced his marriage on Dec. 30 last year. SMAP disbanded in 2016.
