Atami residents mourn victims of mudslide

ATAMI, Shizuoka — Five months after the deadly mudslide in the Izusan area of Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture, residents gathered to mourn the 26 victims on Friday.
The police search is ongoing as one person is still unaccounted for following the disaster.
“As long as there is a missing person, we will continue the search,” a prefectural police official said.
