Sanrio Puroland in Western Tokyo Closed After Receiving Threat via Email

An indoor theme park featuring Hello Kitty in Tokyo was closed on Saturday after receiving a warning that stated, “I placed a hazardous material on the premises.”
According to the local police, an employee of the theme park, Sanrio Puroland, notified the police at about 9 a.m. on Saturday that the park had received the warning in an email.
The park’s operating company announced on its website that the park would be temporarily closed on Saturday, citing an “inability to adequately ensure safety.”
Police said that they have found no suspicious materials.
