Top court orders deletion of Twitter post on man’s arrest record

The Supreme Court of Japan handed down a ruling on Friday ordering the deletion of a Twitter post regarding a man’s arrest record. The man in the Tohoku region had claimed that being able to view arrest records posted on Twitter constitutes a violation of privacy.
