More than 20 people were feared dead following a blaze at a building in a commercial district of Osaka City on Friday morning.

The fire broke out on the fourth floor of the eight-story building, according to the Osaka City Fire Department, and according to reports, 27 people were in a state of “cardiopulmonary arrest.”
