An exhibition to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kobo Abe (1924-1993), a renowned novelist, playwright and director, is being held at the Kanagawa Museum of Modern Literature in Naka Ward, Yokohama.
The exhibition, which displays around 500 items, including some that have never been shown or exhibited before, aims to provide a comprehensive overview of Kobo Abe, who was at the forefront of his time and still has many fans in Japan and overseas.
The exhibition will run through December 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed Mondays excluding November 4.
