Marcus Jordan, the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, was arrested Tuesday in Florida and faces multiple charges.

The younger Jordan was charged with driving under the influence crash with property damage, possession of cocaine and resisting arrest without violence, according to police records. Jordan, 34, was booked into Orange County jail. He was released later Tuesday, according to Fox 35 Orlando.

Police in Maitland, a suburb north of Orlando, spotted a blue Lamborghini stopped over train tracks shortly after 1 a.m., the arrest report said. The car’s tires were said to be partly buried in the dirt on the tracks, and its front bumper appeared covered in rocks.

A vehicle matching Jordan’s license plates had recently fled a traffic stop initiated by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. Train authorities informed police that a train was 10 minutes away.

After police approached the vehicle, Jordan “kept saying he made a wrong turn and needed assistance getting his vehicle off the railroad tracks,” according to the report. Officers said they smelled alcohol coming from the vehicle and said Jordan had slurred speech and “red, glassy and bloodshot” eyes. Body-camera footage (per TV station WESH) showed Jordan’s car draped over the edge of the tracks as police questioned him.

“Based on the fact the vehicle was stuck on the track and the driver was still attempting to operate the vehicle, I asked the Defendant to exit the vehicle, and he would not exit,” the author of the report wrote. “[Jordan] advised he was going to drive the vehicle. The vehicle was obviously not going to be moved and there was a danger the vehicle and occupants had the potential to get struck by an oncoming train. I had to eventually order him and the passenger out of the vehicle. They complied and I had them walk to the side to get off the tracks in case a train was to drive through.”

Jordan told police that he had come from a restaurant and a club and that he had had “some drinks.” Following sobriety tests, he was placed under arrest.

The report said police found a plastic bag in Jordan’s pocket with three grams of what tests determined to be cocaine. Police said Jordan resisted some of their orders, such as refusing to spread his legs wide enough for an officer to search him.

Jordan played basketball at Central Florida and owns a boutique shoe store in downtown Orlando. He starred in Peacock’s reality competition series “The Traitors” last year.
