Tokyo (Jiji Press)—Japan’s gross domestic product in January-March shrank an annualized 0.2% from the previous quarter in price-adjusted real terms, the Cabinet Office said in a revised report Monday.
The figure was an improvement from the annualized 0.7% drop in a preliminary report announced last month.
In nonannualized terms, the decline was smaller than 0.1%, against the preliminary reading of a 0.2% slide.
