The official app for SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 will function as a match maker that allows participating start-up companies to meet potential business partners, according to the event’s official factbook.
The AI-powered app will automatically recommend suitable business partners based on information inputted by the participants. It will also allow users to look up other participants, send messages, exchange digital business cards and book meeting rooms. Plenty of large spaces will be provided for business meetings inside Tokyo Big Sight, according to the organizer.
According to the factbook, 6,136 business meetings took place during SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025, and the number is expected to jump to 10,000 this year as the number of participants continues to expand.
A total of 750 startup exhibitors were registered for this year’s event as of March 27, according to the organizer, a significant increase from 607 last year.
There will also be numerous networking events that provide startup companies with opportunities to speak with representatives from venture capital firms, large corporations and municipalities from all over the world.
“Encounters at SusHi Tech spark new business developments,” the official factbook says.
