Nissan Motor Kyushu Co., a subsidiary of Nissan Motor Co., will cut production by around 1,200 units this month in response to the escalating tensions in the Middle East, The Yomiuri Shimbun has learned.
This measure is being taken because exports of vehicles such as the Patrol luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) to the Middle East have stalled, leaving no spare capacity for storing the produced vehicles.
