November 28, 2021
Pasco Shikishima Corp. has begun to sell at convenience stores two flavors of bread developed with luxury chocolate maker Godiva.
The sweets will be available at supermarkets from Dec. 1.
The rich and moist Chocolat Bread has chocolate chips mixed into the dough.
The Terrine Chocolat, made with steamed dough and dark Belgian chocolate, has a hint of bitterness.
A pastry chef from Godiva was involved in the development of the release, and the luxurious feel is evident through to the packaging.
Pasco Shikishima, based in Nagoya, aims to sell 1 million pieces of each product per month.
